started this blog and then didn't update it for three and a half months. it's. fine. at ANY RATE, let's see...
life updates
life's been lifing. got to see nine inch nails live in feb, which is a BIG bucket list type thing for me tbh. they've been one of my fave bands since middle school. genuinely STUNNING FANTASTIC concert, the cinematography was ASTOUNDING. rob sheridan you've done it again.
also, i have a NEW emergency back up fursona (lazarus, my old one, has been delegated back to plain oc): meet ziggy!

summarily, i am also starting to go by ziggy as an alt name to silas! either is fine, or alternating or whatever.
what else... went to wrestling in jan/feb and got sick after BOTH times which sucks. had to skip this month to do my continuing education modules for my certified license and also my taxes, so those are done at least :) and i have enough ces to renew my state license later in the year.
tried to buy mountain goats tix for may and nearly had a breakdown bc nothing works with firefox/linux but. y'know nya.
otherwise... doing alright. still need to get my cpap up and running again but. it will come in time.

i am way too adhd to do an Actual Media Log, but i will list/link some things i enjoyed in the last 3 months!
movies
the biggest thing in this category is something i only just watched the other day! came home from work and bf was like "ok sit down we're watching a movie" and that movie? was marcel the shell with shoes on. oh my god what an AMAZING movie, i bawled like 2/3 of the entire runtime. just. this is going to sound insane, but that movie made me want to be a better person, get more involved in my community, made me want to HAVE a community, y'know? also
loved it so much i immediately ordered a bluray of it to own it irl.
music
got kinda into viagra boys this year. "bog body" slaps a lot. flavor foley's "ego renegade boy" is a BOP.

unforchies i haven't been gaming much other than arknights + arknights: endfield (though i've fallen off endfield a lot recently haha). did pick up slay the spire 1 (from my steam fambly library) and have been enjoying that even though i suck at it lol.

GUESS WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING! IT'S READING! a little bit, at least. read transfag home video by geilta dot itch dot io. mind the cws for sure, and also nsfw, but REALLY enjoyed this a lot. also banged through dragon age ii by charlotte reber, which made me REALLY want to get back to da2 but. unfortunately i am paralyzed with anxiety about making anders upset so. yeah. also picked up martyr! kaveh akbar on kobo and detransition, baby! by torrey peters at the thrift store, but haven't dug into either yet.
